    My New Summer Incubator

I've been anxiously biting my nails the past few days awaiting the arrival of my summer incubator. I'm heading to GA this weekend to pick up my friend and then it's off to NC to pick up some more of the AT. I was starting to sweat that I wouldn't get the UQ in time but Adam and Jenny came through and it arrived today.

I won't get into it too much because I'm a little rushed and just wanted to get some quick pics out here. I'll do a full review and write-up when I return after next weekend.

Packs Small (still haven't thrown it on the scale yet. Guessing about 20 oz since I overfilled).

Attached (just thrown up for pics, not really adjusted)

    Pulled out for contrast

I'll be honest, I really had my heart set on coyote and was greatly disappointed when Adam told me they'd discontinued it due to the sketchy DWR quality. I wasn't looking forward to the black and didn't really want the green. Now that it's in front of me, though, I have to say I'm very happy. I also kept meaning to call Adam to ask for a two-tone change and he beat me to the punch.

I so can't want to get this thing out on the trail!

A thing of beauty I love my hammock gear quilts. Such great craftsmanship and attention to details. Enjoy the new quilt.
Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.

Hamhocker has one of the summer incubators and really likes it. Just another top notch product from Hammock Gear

My hiking partner dialed in her new Summer Incubator last night on our overnight. She is very pleased. It fit her BB perfectly.

I was hoping to have more time with it but I guess I'll figure it out on the Trail...or freeze trying.

I'll be taking Buddy with me too so standby for more pics.

Hey, Buddy went with me last week to Linville Gorge in the Pisgah and yesterday to the Cherokee National Forest. He sure loves Wilderness Trails!! He really gets around.

My friends incubator on this last trip had not even been out of the stuff sac when we set up her hammock. It only took a couple of adjustments and it was dialed in. Adam really knows how to design an underquilt!!

Buddy can't wait to get out there. He had fun today at a river cleanup but didn't go boating with me, he rode with the trash runners in the truck (There were pretty girls who helped with that)!! But I think he had the most fun at Trail Days!

I'd like to see more adventures of your Buddy!
