It's made things very convenient, next will be the doors!

Thanks Flatline, The pics were taken in July down near the Hiwassee River. It was hot & muggy and on the first night I left it in porch mode all night but the second night it stormed, and I pulled it down. I unzipped the bugnet during the rain and felt the cool breeze from it while watching the lightning show and the river of water that was flowing under my hammock. I felt sorry for the folks in tents. They were roasting like in little ovens and most of them were wet by morning. But we all know I was high & dry!

I think its been mentioned before...thought about it because Cakes mentioned the gross grain tied in the center of the tarp to hold the pole in place. If you run your tarp line under the tarp it can have a prussic loop or soft shackle to connect to the pole an negate the need for a piece of gross grain (or whatever) sewn to the tarp....In the case of a cuben tarp where there is no sewn seem this is adventagous because you are introducing no holes sewing anything in place. If you get with your cuben manufacturer first they can glew in (rather cuben tape in) gross grain/cord/again whatever in place at the time of making the tarp.

I have yet to see pics of a double pole mod-either one toward/near each end or the X pole mod...anyone done either? If so please post pics.

i'm gonna try tying the center over my CRL using a prussic or similar, as MM mentioned.
