Hammock Hike NY for Charity

I'm leaving to go to Nashville now. My grandmother is not going to make it. Going in to say goodbye with the rest of my family.

I will be hiking the end of June but I think I need to do this one alone now. Too much has happened this year for me to properly entertain any co-hikers this time around.

Very sorry to hear that Raul. I am glad that you are still going on the hike, you will have lots of time to reflect on everything and come to terms quickly with it (hopefully). My condolences to you and your family.

Here's a video of my food for this year's long hike. I haven't found that perfect balance of calories, weight, and variety just yet. But this is where I'm at right now.

I havent weighted it yet because everything is in the packages and well I'm still over a week away from the trip. So dont ask cause I dont know

Meeting with Jacqui & Debbie the charity founders tonight for a little meet and greet. Really getting excited that it's almost here!!! Pulled my quilts out of storage and will go over gear this weekend to get things ready.

Here's the funny kicker... My Orange County, NY client is like 20 miles from the trail head and I'm up there all next week!!! The trail is definitely mocking me from a distance.

Man Raul, I am sorry to hear. Stay strong brother....the woods and solitude is a great way to collect one self and get the head clear. Take care friend and enjoy yourself.
