... first time camping (beyond sleeping in the backyard), too.
Picked up a WBBB 1.0 DL in the hopes my daughter (age 7) would want to hammock camp with me (okay... there was a bit of self-preservation involved- I was hoping we wouldn't have to sleep on the ground when we camp).
She climbed in- put her Kung Fu Panda toy, water and fleece in the gear shelf, turned on her headlamp to read her book (Call of the Wild)- and ta-da! A new hammock camper is born.
My only concern is she will never really know how good she has it. Probably should have put her in a 2 person pup tent on a hard-pan tent pad for the first few trips!
The tent in the background was our backup plan. Didn't need it.
