I got a super sweet deal on a 1.0 from a member on here now I need to choose a tarp. Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated.

Take your pick - a good many choices available to you (WB, OES, HG, Ogie, WL) - lucky enough!

Congratulations on your 1.0 In the last 8 days I've spent 5 nights in a WB and I'm sure you'll love it.
Part of that backcountry time was under an OES StealthCat (Brian's cuben model) and the other time was under a WB in spinnUL. You cannot go wrong with either one. Just decide how much you want to spend, how much you want to carry and then enjoy!

Heyyyyy GRATS and welcome to the family! Consider Shug's videos... they gave me so many good ideas I'm in the process of having a custom one made exactly to my specs... It's gonna be SICK! Also he shows his minimalist tarp and his winter tarp, gives you a good idea on how long you want and features and such. I thiiiiiiiink his minimalist tarp has an 11 foot ridge line? (might need a "Whooo buddy" chime in on this to be sure)

But nevertheless, congrats and I'm sure you will be happy with any tarp if you're lying in a Black Bird!

For relatively cheap price compared to other high tech tarps, I love my camo silnylon Warbonnet Bigmamajamba. SWEEEEEET tarp.

I agree you cant go wrong with any of the tarp vendors on here

Randy : yea but just remember yer roots and where ya come from....you got Hennessy in yer blood son......
