Any concerns with the Amsteel damaging a bug net? I have thought about this solution for awhile, but am afraid for my netting.
maybe a foam protector at the junction?

Seems pretty slippery to me. One of the reasons I went to this, I didn't want to go carbiners or buckles due to potential damage to the net. I tried again this afternoon, the only area any kinda contact that was unsmooth was at the mason line pulls, and thats cause I flamed the ends to prevent fraying.... may rethink that and cut em off.
