This is all you guys fault...

So after a while of reading and lurking, I finally decided to order up a WBBB Dbl 1.1, a BMJ tarp with pulls, and a set of carabiners from Brandon.

I have a mess o' groundpads, stakes, line, etc. Is there anything I should need additionally, or am I pretty much set to hang as it is with room for mods later?

    Thanks.

You'll need some bottom insulation (pad or underquilt) to avoid Cold Butt Syndrome (CBS) and a sleeping bag or topquilt for topside insulation. You're off to a great start with those gear choices, however.

    What they said.

Being that it is summer, you can probably forego an UQ by using a cheap fleece throw between layers of your fine new hammock.

Maybe some seam sealer for the tarp tie outs?

    Good to note. Thanks.

I have seam sealer, but I didn't think of sealing the tie outs.

I have that very config, although the biners serve other purposes after moving on to whoopies and straps. Pads are great for a start, you can then determine if you want to stay there are move on to UQ's. Plenty of info here on HF about the endless choices, mods, accessories, etc.

    Happy hammocking.
