    Expedition question

I just got the expedition a few weeks ago and was looking at the videos on here for a quicker easier way to set up. I watched the video of the whoopie sling conversion and saw that under the casing at the end of the hammock where the stock rope comes out there appears to be two holes there. Is this true of all Hennesseys? Would it be possible to remove the stock setup and make it into a carabiner setup somewhat close to what the ENO has? I guess what I'm asking is where the two hole are could I have a short rope tied into a secure knot and attach a carabiner to that? Then maybe attach that to something like the slap straps or tree huggers? Forgive me if this is a dumb question but this is all very new to me.

Yeah i do it the same as in that video as well ... very very fast, and easy ...i actually bought the biner and rings before my hammock even showed up! In fact i just bought my oldest son the same hammock and just got my rings and carabiners today ... hung his over the weekend with just tying it to the tree... man is that slow and painful to setup that way...lol

I replaced the stock suspension with a webbing/ring buckle system. I just tied the rings into the stock rope with a double prussic and cut the extra off after I was sure I wanted to keep it that way. No need to undo the stock rope IMO.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

what rev said. but like the others I also use the garda hitch like mcsparron in his videos. He started that trend and it seems alot like it. I know I do.
Dale Gribble: I'm thinking, "new hammock." For me, laying and swaying in a hammock is like a steady morphine drip without the risk of renal failure.

Randy : yea but just remember yer roots and where ya come from....you got Hennessy in yer blood son......
