    Congrats pal ... nothing like some new gear ... but I think I'm more jealous that it got into the low 50's there last night! Dang it.

    hahaha thanks Bud .... yeah we are having a bit of a cold spell... only going to last a few days and then they are calling for a month of above Avg temps ....YAY .. not really

    so i figure get out and test some gear ... i was wanting to test that UQ for 2 months... but it's been too darn warm so i seen my window and took it

    this CF tarp will work for all 4 seasons for me ... i'm going to add some CF grizz breaks for the winter
    It puts the Underquilt on it's hammock ... It does this whenever it gets cold

    I just made a CF beak a couple of weeks ago, out of 0.6 oz/sq yd cuben. The whole thing (including grosgrain loops and tieouts) came in under 2 oz.

    how much CF did you need to make the one?

    LRR yeah i'm loving my Hex alot... this bad boy is sooo big and so light i just can't get over it....
    i'm so happy i sold of all my extra gear to get it .. well worth it and i'm so glad Raul parted with it... Thanks again Raul
