    DIY Tarp test run

Well, I ordered my supplies from Backwoods Daydreamer today and wanted to test some seams on my machine before testing on the real material....since this will be my first real DIY project. I started out just playing with some scrap rip-stop nylon I had, but figured hey, why not make a small version of the tarp....so...take a look...my ridge line flat-felled seam turned out pretty good, and the cat cuts and rolled hems were passable as well. I will like practice a little more...but now I have a way to keep my shoes dry.

Randy : yea but just remember yer roots and where ya come from....you got Hennessy in yer blood son......

When I first looked real fast I thought those were GIANT shoes...than I looked closer and saw the chairs and a rug...

Now that the test run went well, good luck on the real run! Looks good! And yea, good way to keep your shoes dry!

You might just have a marketable item for dog, pooches, or man's best friend...that or a replacment for ground mats to keep your stuff dry!

Ha, I weighed it, about an ounce. Don't worry, I am trying to figure out a stuff sack......just for fun.
