You never forget the first time and I'm glad you liked it. Maybe next year.

Pray for rain. I want fire.

Still hoping to see you next weekend too!

Looking forward to talking with you and Pamela about another great run of a season the Rangers had.

The rain prayers are in full force here for sure.

Since I don't have a time turner, ERL is going to hopefully be there another day for me. I'll miss you guys.

    The magic number is FOUR.

ERL is becoming a spring/fall staple, so I'd imagine there will be 2 trips in 2012 unless my legs fall off. We'll get you up there one way or another. (BTW - We'll be missing Rangers/yankees while on the trail next weekend <mixed emotions>...)

Thanks for all the work on this!

    or 2 or 3...

We have over 40 committed and 2 dozen in the "maybe" category and at least 2 potential sub groups as well, (scouts and Kammock folk), that could bump our numbers into the millions. This is not an event that one attends in search of solitude.

We may need to get creative on table space for the Saturday night Pot Luck spread.

It might also make sense to consider some degree of time organization for activities, (DIY cozies, whoopie sling lessons, wilderness first aid, dutch oven show and tell, swap meet, specific gear show and tell, stove play...)

Ah yes, at 11:44pm last night as the last fly was caught, my Facebook status was updated via Twitter with the post of, "Magic Number 4!"

I know ERL isn't going anywhere and I'll hike it one day.

The planning is not work, it's a welcome distraction from work and heat. I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone.

I was going to bring a folding table for my "garage sale" stuff, so it can do double duty as a groaning board.

If someone has the skillz to give a demo on friction fire building, I'd get all excited.

The firewood is loaded, just in case.

I can't wait for this. I'm getting ansy! The only unfortunate thing on my end is I'll have to leave Saturday around 3 or so. I'll be staying Thursday and Friday though! My band is doing very well and with the momentum we have behind us it's hard to get a full weekend off, which is good, but it takes me away from my hammock friends!!! It'll be a nice 2-day vacation for me though!
Hammocks are God's way of saying....."relax guy".
