    Wow, Sounds like fun. I will have to make the next one though. Will be backpacking that weekend. Would love to finally hang with fellow hangers.

    +1 to that sentiment, it sounds like a total blast. I too have a hike that weekend (through the next weekend) so I'll miss this one, but I would love to attend a hang sometime.

    Ah, the old days. There were more places to hang in Whittier in the old days, as well as the whole of OC. Remember when there were actually Orange Groves in the OC? Well, that's progress for ya

    I'm going to try to make it. Yeah van dusen is a easy drive, the camp ground I believe is right where van dusen meets the main road. There is some great rock climbing close by and some decent hiking. And off roaring if you got the truck for it.

    I wad told the other day by a co worker tat the front road is open up the mountain.
