It looks like many of the imported hammocks are coming out of the same factories. I haven't been able to do an up-front touchy-feely comparison--- it looks like many of the ENO, Grand Trunk, Pawleys Island, and others are clones or just have different logos slapped on the stuff sacks. Am I right? If not, which ones use the better fabric/workmanship?

I posted a thread last week asking if there was really a difference in all the parachute type hammocks. someone did say that there was talk of them being made together but I dont believe theres any proof but I dont know for sure. dont hold me to it haha
Dale Gribble: I'm thinking, "new hammock." For me, laying and swaying in a hammock is like a steady morphine drip without the risk of renal failure.

You might try searching on Alibaba. If you find a company selling single layer hammocks in lots of 100 or whatnot... SOMEONE is buying them wholesale.
