Welcome! Joining HF was the right first step to take on your hammock hanging journey. Spend some time here and you are sure to learn a ton of stuff. Don't be afraid to ask questions. Good luck on hammock hanging adventures.

    Welcome

Welcome! I'm a little SW of you in N. WI. Watersmeet is just to my North. Just got started with this stuff and so far it's been a blast. You won't find a nicer more helpful group of people than those on this forum.

Welcome. Are you originally from Marquette, or just up there for school?
You will certainly learn plenty around here, be it about hammocking or backpacking/hiking in general.

Welcome to the forum. My mother is from the upper peninsula also, Alpha just south of Crystal Falls.
Any hoo, great country you got there and happy hammocking.

The Porkies are on my to-do list here in the next month before it gets too chilly! I hear its wonderful. I had the chance to hang all weekend at pictured rocks a few weekends ago, so great! I would love to get a group to hang here in the UP!
