    This was at the beginning of my addiction and only used it a couple of nights in the backyard. My hammock at that time was a DIY 10.5' x 5' and the pad conformed to my body. Which even in the winter in Florida will act as a vapor barrier leaving me a little clammy feeling. Dukedante, I didn't notice any loss but temps if I remember were in the 40s. Just guessing but the gaps that were created were against the hammock creating a dead air space?
    Most of us end up poorer here but richer for being here. Olddog, Fulltime hammocker, 365 nights a year.
