Radiant Double Bubble Pad in WBBB

Wondering if anyone has tried one of these pads from Hennessy in a WBBB?

Since I am sitting here in 100+ daytime temps with the nights only falling to the mid to low 70s, I am thinking I could use the pad, sans an UQ well into the fall, especially out here in west Texas.

Also thinking I may want to try it so that I can save up for an UQ later in the year.

The underpad looks a little fragile and says it needs the undercover as well. I was thinking I could slide the bubble pad between the layers of a WBBB.

its not really that fragile. mine is second hand from someone whos used it for years. and mines still going strong. and i dont need the undercover unless the temp goes below 60. you could slide the bubble pad between the layers

That's good to know. I looked at a pic of it on the HH website and thought it looked like an egg crate with string on it.

I could tear that up just taking it to the car to load up.

    Thanks for clarifying though.

Newton, did you ever put it between the WBBB layers? Seems like it would compress in there and loose most of it's warmth. But maybe not? As opposed to hanging it under the hammock like on the HH.
For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us....that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now.

I never tried it between the layers but someone on here said they had it under it

I've put the HH underpad in between the layers of my WBBB 1.1 double. It may compress a bit but it kept me warm into the 40*s. The problem I had was hanging it on the outside since it left a big gap on my back.

    Hope this helps!

I put a Walmart CCF pad AND a HH reflectix pad in my ENO DN when I camped in the upper 40's and I felt like I was on a hotcake griddle.
