Momentum90: Any issues with using pins?

I'm getting ready to start making a new top quilt using Momentum90 MR/T nylon.

I actually plan on buying the down quilt kit from Thru-Hiker and the product description mentions that the fabric is DWR coated (http://thru-hiker.com/materials/breathable.php)

Are there any issues with using pins in this fabric? Will poking tiny holes have a significant negative impact on the function of the fabric?

    Thanks!

I used pins in the tq I just made, but those where only in the roll hems and didn't see a problem. But I am going to buy finer ones for the next one I make using M90. I didn't us any pins for the baffles though.

I've used pins in down quilts that I've made with M90 and didn't have any problems at all. I think that stuff "self heals" very well.

I have gotten completely away from pinning anything now. I found that pins were a pain in the finger - literally! Ouch!

Have you replaced pins with a different mechanism of attachment or are you just holding things in place by hand?
