well, unless youre talking about something other than whats in this thread, i have a hang planned (theres other ones in the works too. this is just an initial meet and hang, no hiking required!).

if it helps, Sep 30-Oct 2, Santee State Park in the group camping area. Hiking and biking trails, were right on the lake (about 15 yards away) with beach and a boat ramp. Fishing for big striped bass and fishing licenses available at the park office. Bathrooms on site!

Dale Gribble: I'm thinking, "new hammock." For me, laying and swaying in a hammock is like a steady morphine drip without the risk of renal failure.

Randy : yea but just remember yer roots and where ya come from....you got Hennessy in yer blood son......

Don't forget the catfish, they like to play too.

But if'n yer plannin' on takin' a swim...

Ya may want to think again.
I do however highly suggest the Fish Eagle boat tour of Stumphole Swamp. Make sure ya bring a good camera.

    Rev,
I dont think I can make this hang, but I thought I might drive up for the day. I skimmed the thread (briefly, it is 11 pages), but I cant find the date. Can you remind me?

BTW, now that this hang is set, you may want to edit the first post with details and a link to the sign up sheet.

    Good job .
