I have a set up inside that I’ve been in every night for 2 months now. Here’s some pics…

    Full hang

4” HD lags into studs with D-Rings

This setup holds me (200lbs) and my 65lb pitbull with no problem!

When you move all you do is spackel(sp) and paint 4 small holes…
Just make sure you are in studs, you should have no problem. Or you could hang 2 hammocks side by side!
When doing this type of set up inside, are you hanging your foot end higher just as you would if attaching to a tree? Is one D ring anchored in higher or are you doing through adjustments with your whoopie sling?

    adjustable

The adjustable hammock stands work well. I'm using one with a tommy hammaca xx grande. I sleep in it almost every night. I think mine is a blemished vario adjustable hammock stand. I don't even have it all the way extended (up to 15 ft I think they claim). But brand new w/ shipping they're kinda expensive. Best to put some eye-holes into the wall.

When I had hammocks in wall studs, I had both ends at the same level. Seemed fine to me. I sleep sideways in it though so that wouldn't have made a difference. Why would you want your feet higher anyhow?
Tag with Home if your thread is more about home hammocks. Thanks!

Sine the hammock will sag and semi-circular shape, can't you just slide your torso down into it a little so your legs will be higher when they rest on the end of the hammock as it rises? Or use pillows? Would there be more pull on the higher-stud if you offset them?

kibakichi37 and toober Most of us find that hanging the foot end higher helps the over all lay and feel of the hammock. It can help with pressure behind the knees, keeps you, your TQ and UQ from shifting downward during the night, helps with circulation after a day of hiking, and a lot more. I don't want to thread hijack so here are some links to get help and there is a lot more information here on that topic as well. Hope all of that helps. Not everyone does this, but most of us find it helpful. http://hammockforums.net/forum/showthread.php?t=45371

Well I've been trying it and it's working wonders. I just put the head-end arm of my vario stand down a notch. Thanks again for the advice
