    A McHale?!?!?
Your killing me, I've got too many packs already. I'd love to see the pictures. McHale is my hero and to own one of his packs....I don't think I am worthy.

So do I, purchased just before I entered the way lighter load world. I still used it until just recently, and it carries superbly, but hard to justify the extra pack weight with today's much lighter loads. Sure is a wonderful pack though. I still think it's abilities would justify the weight if I was ever again to find myself on week long winter expeditions ( not much less than 6 lbs? over 6000 ci- this one seems to be a lighter version McHale). Food weight would add up if nothing else. It finally got rid of most of the lower back and shoulder pain I had with some other highly rated packs. But with the lighter loads, what a dream carry. But finally I decided much lighter packs can handle my current loads well enough, so I have not used it in a couple of years.

Anyway, if anyone needs such capabilities, McHale is highly recommended, and this is actually not a bad price for a Mchale.

I am so thankful you sold that McHale. Now maybe i can get some work done instead of trying to justify another backpack. I sure wish I could rent one sometime.

Wow, I didn't think that would go so fast here! Someone got a high quality pack, and not all that heavy either.
