Smile Plan a MI cafe' hammock yap night

I figure we could all gather some place for a few hrs and chat it up about gear and hikes/rides/campouts the works, just like the forum only face to face, the campouts are great but require time off work and I thought since we are all here to talk hammocks why not do it in person.
All the other forums do it, geocaching, motorcycle ADV riders, kayakers, backpackers, all of them.
I say we pick a time a place and have some fun one night.

That sounds like a great idea for this area too. There seems to be more and more hangers in this area than this time last year. I'll suggest that this weekend at the paddle and hang here in NY.

It's a good idea. I'll be fairly limited because of work, but I would be up for it if I'm open.

All we have to do is pick a day, it doesn't have to work for everyone because we can do as many as we like and can have them in different places so all can make one or more

Well Rug came to see me at REI today, it was cool to meet someone face to face from the forum, he would like to get in on the meet, so if anyone else is intrested just let me know.
Hey Rug sorry if I seemed distracted but the store can be busy on sundays.

hehe no problem, I had a dozen other things to do and was not meaning to lollygag around.

I am up for a coffee-talk. Being a displaced Canadian, I vote for meeting up at a Tim Hortons for coffee & chat.

Any day/time works for me I just need to know when/where.

I like to HAM it up on the CW.
    I use Linux.
    I play go.
Of course I sleep in a hammock!

The area of Woodward and 8-12 mile is easily doable for me. (I live in Ferndale)
