Thats too bad, J. Would have been nice to meet you. Hopefully we wil see you next time.

Doing some last minute adjustments to the DIY hammock in the backyard. Been eyeing the Blackbird with envy, going to try to make one this winter, along with the down underquilt. But while reading and watching videos on the WBBB I came up with the idea of a tie-out for my hammock that would get my bugnet out of my face. Testing it now, have alot more headroom and am watching the ferocious Swedish killer-mosquitoes trying their best to get me to no avail, and can type on my iPhone without touching the net anymore!

Getting really excited over here, and we actually got through a whole day without rain, and tommorrow should be even better!

Hopefully will see Sweden some time, I had not been here at all. Summer are at this year full of work and having little spare time For winter version of a group hang as of this time I'm not ready at all but if going to get some spare cash first to do is to buy some nice camping hammock in place for old big ole Brazilian hammock. HG incubator would be nice addition some time.
I spent some nights in woods in Latvia but have paused this but after finish of that big project going to enjoy some nights in piney woods somewhere near Riga.
I'll try to hold my radar at SKAHO to see how this hang turns out, will wait that trip report.
    I got screwed
    Ride fast
    Live fun

The weather does look to be improving. I will be landing at 07:35 the 21st and staying at the City Lodge hostel. I will see some of you on the boat at 10am the 22nd. How many are on the boat?

    I better start packing

ah okay so the finally headcount is 6 people and how many canoes? 3 or 4? I have 3 of those GPS 2-way radios i mentioned earlier. I'm happy to give a couple out but only if i find a float to attach to them so they don't find themselves on the bottom of the river. :P Anyone know where i could get something that would work for that? we don't have any boating stores in krakow.

We are five more that will be in Mariefred when the boat lands, Joz, myself, my wife and our two kids. Six canoes, that must be a SKAHO record?

Do you have water tight bags for the radios?

i think there pretty water proof, it's more of an issue of them sinking. i need some sort of a floater i can tie on to each one if i'm gonna give em out.

Gahh... cant wait to get through this last day of work
    before my vacation starts!

IŽll be heading to Stockholm tomorrow morning for a fuel run
and to buy something that will keep the flying bloodsuckers
away from me. So in case anyone needs fuel or something
    else let me know.

For everyone who are going on the Steamboat trip!

Im thinking that we perhaps should meet up at the
Stockholm Central Train station and walk from there
to the boat. Should not take more than 10-15 minutes.

IŽll be there probably around 8:30 AM, 9 AM at the latest.

So give me a call or text me so we can meet up and so forth.
