    Thanks Knotty, I looked at your DIY write up many times before making this hammock. I had the same thought you just said, about making a strong hammock. My fiancee likes to lay in the hammock with me a lot so I wanted to make something I wouldn't have to worry about, just plop down and "hang" out.
