Thanks for all the tips. I like to keep things simple and try to buy just what I need, The challenge is trying to balance convenience, necessity, and cost. Sounds like I need to invest in shoes, socks, and a pack. Everything else I probably already have from bike touring. I guess if I think about it, that makes sense, as I am just changing my method of transportation.
