    Hello from Georgia

Hi all. I do not own a hammock and have never slept in one but I have come over here from www.BushcraftUSA.com because of all I have read there about this forum. I have been reading some and watching videos and have decided to take the plunge and buy one. At my age, it is getting harder to go from standing up to laying on the ground all night, then getting up in the morning. Hopefully, the hammock thing will make life easier!

Welcome aboard. Once you get used to it, you'll wonder why it took you this long.

Welcome to HF from TN. I just north of you and you are correct about it getting easier to get up from the ground when you get a little age on you.

    Welcome from Acworth!
Hammocks have made my time easier out in the woods, my bones & muscles feel better then being on the ground --- beware if you like gear your wallet will get lighter

    Enjoy!

HI HO from OHIO, I know what you mean but my problem is not getting down on the ground but getting up, at 47, 6"4', 340 that's a long way up. Happy hanging.
