Just got home from work and tired from a long week. I'd sure love to be there with you all instead of lying here on my bed and reading about it. Ah, well, that's how I make money for gear, so I shouldn't complain. Just wishing I was there, instead of here.

"I fish because I love to; because I love the environs where trout are found, which are invariably beautiful... because, in a world where most men seem to spend their lives doing things they hate, my fishing is at once an endless source of delight and an act of small rebellion; because trout do not lie or cheat and cannot be bought or bribed or impressed by power, but respond only to quietude and humility and endless patience...." --Robert Traver

Sorry I missed it. Traveling just wasn't in the cards for me this weekend.
    Don't alter my altar
    don't desecrate my shrine
    My church is the water
and my home is underneath the shady pines

Yeah, we just got home. At first it was fine, then when we came into Hoosier National we started getting caught in muck and had to physically pull the canoe onto shore. We just ditched food and camped on a beautiful Ridge until this morning. I wish I had just taken trail like everyone else.
