Great work Shugster, I was getting a little strung-out there without my fix...

Also, congrats on the tough-guy win. Are you looking forward to Ranier? I was wondering if you've done much alpine stuff before and where the hell are you going to hang your hammock up there? Better buy some ice screws or something

Not really all as excited as I should be on the Rainier climb....go with a group, 35 pound pack, tents...no hammocks. Straight up-hill. Never done any alpine so it could be a cool adventure anyways.

Yeah, come on Shug, it's all in that last sentence. Never done = cool adventure, unless proven differently.

Like you so wisely advise newbies like me at the end of your last How-To video: just get out there and start doing it, experience your own trials and tribulations, failures and successesesess...sess.

You may find out that alpine certainly isn't for you, but it will be quite the experience nonetheless!
