    It sure feels good...

...to have my HH Expedition back, expertly modified with it's brand new zips. Totally changes the feel of the hammock for me, it's nice to have the choice of entry as well. I left the bottom opening in as I realised the kids would have trouble reaching the zip at the 'top' of the hammock.

As I am in the UK, tediously I got stung by customs on the way back despite 2QZQ's help in labelling the package.

Turns out Customs and Excise in the UK charge VAT not only on the repair but on the in and outward bound freight costs as well. Always manage to get their pound of flesh :roll eyes:

For anyone else in the U.K. apparently you can complete a form prior to shipping to the states stating it's a temporary export for non-commercial use (repair) and thereby avoid inbound customs charges. Hindsight is a wonderful thing :roll eyes:

Thanks to 2QZQ for great workmanship on the mod. - much appreciated.

We sure like to hear about another satisfied customer!
We will update our response letter sent after an order has been placed with us about the "form" that may avoid customs fees.

We do always return the original shipping label with the hopes that would provide documentation and avoid the customs fees.

    Thanks Simon!
Have a great fall and happy hanging!
