I really wish I hadn't talked myself out of putting the side channels on the under quilt. I have been looking at mine to figure out how to make the sides fit a bit better. The primaloft really wasn't too bad to sew with the scrim to the outside.

On a bridge, I am under the impression it is best to have the UQ from the suspension ridge with an adjustable tensioning system.

I like your tall bugscreen. Mine is basically just like Grizz's. Can you sit upright in your bridge? I find that its a bit tricky in mine and becomes a bit of a balancing act.

I can sit upright, but like you say-it's a little tippy. I tapered mine from the head end to the foot end and think I did so a bit much, but it's great for sleeping.

I lay pretty dang close to flat, if I played with the ridge length I could probably get it closer but it feels good as is. I made the ridge adjustable and removeable. On one end I have a soft shackle larksheaded on to the ring and I have a miniature whoopie with a soft shackle on the tail larksheaded on to the other ring. Between the two I have a length of cord with celtic button knots (for stoppers) on each end that go into each of the soft shackles.

As for the bugnet, it is mosquito netting from Hancock Fabrics. I plan to make another bridge in the future that has a little more width at the feet and use no-see-um for the net instead of mosquito net. At the time I started this DIY stuff I didn't realize no-see-um was a bug, I just thought it was a brand name of mosquito netting.
