    Dutch Buckle

The Dutch Buckle specially designed to replace the marlin spike hitch with a light, fast, and safer method of connecting the whoopie sling to the webbing. The secret to making this so light weight is all the force is put on the webbing and not the buckle so there is no need for a back up knot. Your whoopie sling actually be becomes part of the buckle to lock the webbing in place. With the whoopie sling going around the webbing there is much less wear on it and it doesn’t have to make a tight radius. Once on the buckle the whoopie sling can be easily adjusted and won’t slip off the device like it can slip off the knot of the marlin spike hitch. The buckle is completely adjustable so you can quickly slide it up or down to accommodate a wide variety of tree sizes. As an added feature, the Dutch Buckle has a retention shock cord and latch method to keep you webbing straps nice and neat when not deployed.

I like the fact that you can leave it on the webbing...cool idea!
Just when I thought you couldn't possibly be any dumber, you go and do something like this... and totally redeem yourself!

What are they made out of? I'm guessing aluminum? They look sweet whatever it is.

Awesome new piece of gear u got their Dutch. Very creative. I like that better then the inverted woopie cause this prevents the woopie from fraying and wearing due to tree abrasion. I gotta get me like 3 sets of these for all my hammocks. Hopefully their will be some at the MAHA up for grabs. Thanks dutch
Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.

At 8 grams each I am in. I just bought a pair for my next trip. Probably won't use my Dutch Clips with these though I have avoided the hardware but I ordered a couple hooks for my tarp line also
