    Just excited about upcoming trip!!

I haven't been out backpacking in over a month....but I have been haning indoors
Anyway, next Thursday a whole bunch of us are heading up to the Trinity Alps for a big hike/get together. Thursday night car camping at the trailhead, then up to Morris Meadow as our 2 night base camp, then heading up to Emerald and Sapphire Lakes for the day on Saturday. Don't care about the weather, I am ready.
I think it will be about 20 of us trickling in at different times, maybe 4 people hanging, hopefully more.
I am all set with my Traveller, 4S Incubator ( cold sleeper here), Nunatak Arc Specialist as my top quilt. OES Maccat Standars tarp with Dutch hardware.
    Can't wait. Will post pics

all packed and ready to go

I just work a few hours in the morning and off I go. I am sleep deprived and plan on 10 hours a night as comfy as I can get. There will be over 20 of us, maybe 5 hammockers. I might be the comfiest, warmest there
