We were out this weekend hammocking in the constant rain. Managed to stay dry and had a good time however I ran into one small problem and I'm just looking for different ideas to deal with it.
When I retired for the night I put my wet rain jacket and pants over the ridge line at the hammock ends under the tarp. In the morning they were both on the ground. Not a huge deal I shook them out and wore them. It wasnt' a huge pour so they weren't muddy or anything. I would however like to avoid that in the future.
I'd like to avoid bringing an extra gear hammock if possible, and all I can come up with that would be light is clothes pins. Any better ideas out there?
I've a WB coming so the shelf will take care of some of my gear issues, but I can't see myself storing wet rain gear in there.
