    Nor Cal 2012: 31 March / 1 April hang

Let's head up to Feather Falls in Plumas Nat'l forest for an overnight hang: Saturday March 31st, 2012 to Sunday April 1st.

It's an 8 mile round trip to the falls, very much downhill on the way in but not so much on the way out (a loop hike with two pigtails).

This site (about waterfalls) gives a pretty fair overview of the falls and the hike.

My trip report from last year
I was the only hanger on that trip.

Looks like editing the date also edited out my positive response. I'm in.

    I'm marking it down

I would be up for the hang if possible. I've just had a surgery and have a few more to go. Hope to have them done by then and will keep the tread posted.

    bump bump bumptity bump

The snow is not cooperating so far this year (so the falls might not be at their best) but it will still be a nice overnight hike/hang.

I just found this thread. Looks good to me. it's an easy hike, but will be fun for a hang.

Well, you have another chance for the poison oak on this trip!
I avoided it last time I went to Feather Falls but got a little bit when I was up near Lassen a few years ago.
