Smile msr Large fuel canister and snow hammock pic

Hey everyone - check out a pic from my latest hammock trip. I stayed 3 nights and it was around 32 deg F every night at 10,000 ft elevation. Enjoy!

Also, Does anyone know the full gross wt(the actual weight) of the MSR ISOPRO 8oz/227g fuel canister? I need the weight as a full, new product, just the can.

    THANK YOU

358 grams, including the plastic safety seal.

Nice photo. Was it in a campsite?

Not realy sure where the campsites were because of all the snow, but it was up near Red peak in Yosemite!

My MSR water pump broke so we started melting snow and boiling water to disinfect and drink!

Can you actually provide me the weight in grams without that safety seal? Thank you much!!!!!

Do 3 grams really matter all that much? I take it you are weighing your canister to determine how much fuel is left, or was consumed. The nearly 5 ounces of steel will be the difference. OK, so 128 grams, or 4.5 ounces of steel.
