Adding a zip "side entry" to a HH

I have a "bottom-entry" HH, and decided it would also be useful to have some form of side entry, so that I could adjust UQ; get things off the ground; be passed a cup of coffee in the morning etc.

Today I unpicked 24" of the side seam near my left elbow, and put in a size 3 zip with 2 sliders, opened from inside. This allows me the access for things from outside, without having to have deal with things passed up from below.

Haven't come across this concept elsewhere, so thought others might appreciate the thought process.

ZQ/2Q have been doing numerous zip mods styles for years. Just to say the idea is not new. They have something like 4 different setups. The work is excellent and the prices very reasonable.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

Sounds good. It should be very handy. Got any pics?
For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us....that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now.
