    Orange fabric

Anyone know where I can get orange fabric/tarp material on the cheap?
I'd like to use a bright orange when I camp during hunting season so I don't get shot out of my hammock, lol

    thanks

    Try Dimension-Polyant.

I bought a whole lot of their end of roll fabrics a few years ago, including many meters of orange ripstop - in fact so many meters, I can't remember what I was planning to make from it. It was about $3-5/m, and fantastic quality fabric.

I was at Joanns last night. They had some ripstop in orange. Not water proof, but could be used for a DIY hammock. Or you could make a tarp, and then DIY sil.

Check out this site: http://owfinc.com/Fabrics/NylonWoven/Ripstop.asp#Nylon Ripstop. They have the blaze orange you are looking for to make your tarp. Its 1.1 oz/yd sq and is the real deal, I have some of the black I am turning into a summer tarp.

You beat me to it, recommending Outdoor Wilderness Fabrics. I have bought blaze orange there more than once. Usually I get the "seconds" because it's cheap and I've never been able to find anything wrong with it anyway.

ditto on Rain Man's experience with OWF seconds. mine had two dark threads running along the edge that didn't impact the usability of the fabric at all. oh yeah, and it is BLAZE orange.
