    Info on the manufactures website:

    Background –
This company is known primarily for their trail running shoes, and this is their more protective trail boot. I have plantar fasciitis and I bought these new to see how they worked. I found they worked great without wearing my inserts. However they are just a little small for my feet, primarily in the width. When I bought them online the site recommended you buy a ½ size larger than you normally get, but the largest they had was 11 (which is my normal size). Given the great features of this boot/shoe I had to try it. I wore these twice for training walks on a dry paved street, about 3 miles each time. I love these boots…if only they were a little larger. So if you wear size 10½ and your feet are normal to narrow width you might want to give these a try. At this price, if they don’t work for you it’s easy to pass them on to somebody else without losing money.
