    Yes, one layer would hold you. One layer of 1.5 holds my once 305 now 275 pound rear for 8 months now. Then again, that's my inside use only hammock, you may want a little more insurance out in the pricklies.

    A little more sag sir and I think you got it. And pillows. One for your head one for your knees. Sleeping at home I like to add another king size to hold or push down by my feet if it's hot. I'm a hugger but it also acts as kind of a short over quilt. When it gets cool enough in my room (50-60) the pillow won't cut it and I put an insulated blanket over me. I sleep out in the field with less, clothes under the legs and a little pillow for the head, but at home, might as well be comfortable.
