MedicineMan--enjoyed the show, thanks!
I'd hardly call a burner that takes over 10 minutes to boil a couple of cups of water a "Jet", but am delighted to hear it worked for you in the Caldera Cone. I'll take it through its paces on my CC, and on some other stove set-ups as well.
Grizz
(alias ProfessorHammock on youtube)
Grizz please put the timer on it when coning....we didn't measure, just stood agast at the relative speed...12 ounces of chilly water but 1 oz of HEET. I'd be interested in hard numbers. It is a great stove and you've again done the community great service and some of us more than others
spent 3 days in the fourney area a few weeks ago.
a couple of side trips up jonas creek and up to andrews bald as well.
the final night was spent on the upper site at #68.
that's by far the best site on the trail.
the sign said closed due to aggressive bear activity. but he came by and was very cordial.
next to eagle, it's my favorite of the creek trails on that side of the park.
