    BridgeZilla gear storage

In my first video I hinted around about a pocket. I got the idea from the way the Chrysalis head and foot go up the suspension. So I put together a quick video from my phone as you can see we where about to leave. My son was ready to go. Its raw so don't beat me up too bad about it.

If one is installed at each end of the hammock it eliminates the need for a gear hammock but you need a good size tarp to cover it all

I love the pockets on my Chrysalis. Book, shoes, flashlight etc are handy yet out of the way.

Or cover them with a Sil-nylon cover that goes over your ridgeline and hook under the edge of the pockets with shock cord.

Like a sil cover. I like that idea but there would have to be a way to seal the sides. Maybe if it was made as an all in one envelope, but then your limited on stuff going in. I will have to sit on this one and thing.

Yeah, see there tarp covers. I tried a MacCat standard with my first bridge and it didn't cover the corners. I sent it back and am PATIENTLY waiting for an ultra to arrive. With the bigger tarps used by bridge guys I think coverage will be fine.

I've got a big OES tarp to use over the hammock depending on the weather. I like the small shell if I'm going fast and light and the weather is clear. Big tarp if it'll rain and both if it's really cold and might rain. The big tarp closes the ends up so any stuff you might have in your pockets would probably be dry.
