    Welcome!

Welcome to HF, KidShaleen! You'll really enjoy your new gear. Camping is great, but just too darn uncomfortable for me on the ground, even with multiple air and foam pads! The hammock is heaven in comparison.
I'm pretty new to hammocks as well, and one of the first things I learned is what a great community of people there is in the wonderful world of hammocks. Look around HF and you'll see many excellent hangers from the GTA.

I'll definitely come out regardless of whether I have my gear or not - I'm just down the road a bit.

Welcome to the forum. A group of Southern Ontario Hangers are getting together for a year end hang. If you have your hammock setup in time, come on out and join us. If not, come on out and check out everyone's setup and get an education on how hammock camping is done.

Here is the thread with the details.
