Welcome from Rockdale County. There are some great hanging locations in/near north Georgia. I will be at my favorite, the Chatoogah River, later today!

They certainly are. We should organize a N. Ga hang sometime, maybe in the spring?

Sounds like a plan. Anywhere in the mountains is great for hanging.

I love winter camping. Maybe there should be a Winter/Spring/Summer/Fall hang

To the OP; welcome to the forum. Another Gwinnett County resident here. An early spring hang sounds great. I say that only because I don't have winter kit.

To Shug; maybe we can convince you to leave the piney north woods and travel down to the land of cotton for a hang (?). I'd offer lefse and lutefisk but since you are Irish, I'll leave off the pickled cod and offer an Irish Stew instead.
