I'll bring a couple packages of venison jerky to hold you over then.

Venison sausage should be served on biscuits... don't put it in the pot with a bunch of other stuff!

Well if the pie man, can find a nice place, I will again bring pie!
but I will be on the road all week before I come... at least sparky won't be there to steal the last venison brat.... but to be fair, he did deserve it more!

It looks like I can make it for at least Thursday-Saturday. Hope it's not too late to throw my name in!

Anyone from the Madison area going? Could be possible to carpool.

This will be a heck of a first hang.

Does a 0 degree pod and a 20* UQ (and maybe more on top) sound like reasonable insulation? Also, is a large tarp essential for winter or can I get by with the ENO dryfly?

Come on up. There is plenty of room for everyone. Sounds like you should be fine on your insulation, especially the way the temps have been lately.

Just bring something to either put in the pot for diners or something to go along with.

    52F in the cities today.

Looking at the weather for the 19th, it's saying we have a low of 12F. With the way things are looking, we just might have a snowless frozen butt hang.

Of course! What fun would be without contributing something?

So, if there's no snow, do we just bring a hammer and hope our stakes hold up to it??

    Rocks and trees dude.

I have a new piece of gear I've made where I can go tarpless.
