    "Better late then never" intro

Hey out there just thought I would tell ya how I fell in love with the hammock world.
I have always loved to hike and camp N pretty much anything else outdoors, but the hammock world kinda found me. I was lookin up penny stoves on youtube when i saw a related video of some of the gorge rats on a hang, clicked it N was addicted right away then it hit me why am I luggin around a heavy backpackin tent and huge pack sleepin on the ground. I knew then these guys had the right idea so I did my research and got ahold of some pretty sweet gear "thanks for all the help guys" and now happily on my way into the hammockin world...still a newb but enjoying every minute of it.

Welcome from the Gulf Coast! Let me see: WBBB 1.7d, Mamajamba, KAQ and whoopie slings? Sounds like an expert to me.

Good to have you with us.

Hello from a fellow San Antonian. I still have a good bit of stuff to wrangle together to complete my gear but as soon as I do, I would love to get a group together and head to Garner State Park, Lost Maples, or Bandera State Natural Area for a weekend hike and hang. Hopefully I should have most the kinks worked out in the next few weeks. Would you be interested?
