    Knobstone Trail - Dec 28-30

The company has decided to shutdown between Christmas and New Years this year, so I am thinking about a hike.

    Where:
    Knobstone Trail
Deam Lake Trailhead to Elk Creak Trail Head

    When:
    Dec 28th - Dec 30th

    Distance:
    31.5 miles total
    Approx. 10/day

Are there any other crazy soles out there interested in joining me?

Glad to see there is interest and I won't be hiking alone!

I am thinking we can meet at the Elk Creek Trailhead and just take one vehicle to the Deam Lake Trailhead.

    What's everyone's thoughts about a start time?

Have fun guys! Unfortunately I am going to have to bow out of the trip. I was hoping to get some 20 degree nights in to test my new gear(I have never backpacked in winter before). I went out tonight thinking I could test my stuff and it is almost 40 degrees and it looks like the temps are going to stay warm. Hope to see you guys in January.
