they are ok,,i have a pair, and had them over a year,,but you just can't beat the flame throwers, especially with a extra half oz of down in them..hands down,,they are the super warmest,,now the Sierra's....great for lounging around camp in,,and not too bad on weight issues,,very light weight.

The Clymb has the packable down booties for $17.98. They are only 450 fill and weigh 7 oz. vs the $25.99 pair that is 700 fill and 12 oz. The packable down booties also do not have the strong bottom for walking around in. They would be good for extra insulation in the TQ for your feet. The heavier ones are good for camp shoes also, so you have a choice. Just my .02.

Sierra Designs Down Booties on Sale

    [Moderator's note: merged threads]

The Clymb has Sierra Designs down booties on sale.
    Men's down packable booties - $17.98 they are 450 fill and 7 oz. with a non-skid bottom.
Also, they have pull on down booties - $25.99 they are 700 fill and 12 oz. with a non-skid bottom.
Looks like a great deal. I now have some nice warm camp shoes.

Also, they have Backpacker magazine on sale for $9.98 for a one year subscription.
    Happy Hangin!!!

I only see the Hurricane and Lunatic on sale… Are you talking about web deals or in a physical store deal?

    Just Bought

I just picked up a pair of these booties from Streamline, can't wait to use em! I suffer from CFS, even in milder temps (30's) when my body is toasty. These will come in most handy at the upcoming Klondike Derby in January!
