I had it hung like it was many times before. Was laying in it when the ridgeline went. It's not under warranty, and I am not asking for a warranty repair. It's just one of those things that happens, especially when something is used. No harm no foul. The only reason I commented was that without the ridgeline there is a really weird lay to the hammock, and they state on the website the ridgeline is what makes it lay properly. I wouldn't recommend cutting and then re-attaching, even with a biner.
