What has HF done for me?

It has given me a place to go and talk about the thing I love the most, camping

It has taught me how to be a hanger (may not have succeeded without it)

It amazes me by the way others create new products and techniques

It has helped me spend much of my "funny money"

It has made me laugh and cry

It has put me in touch with people who I now call my friends

I'm sure there are many other things that I can't think of right now.
All this in a civil and friendly atmosphere that is unparalleled.
Thanks Mods for all your hard work. When you set out to design this site, you sure did it well.

I have been impressed by the mods and members of this forum since I first looked at it a few years ago. There is a ton of information, spread with care, respect and affection for one another in some of the most entertaining ways imaginable. My only concern about the forum is the complete lack of judgement as evidenced by my being allowed to join.

My sincere thanks to the mods for tending to the forum and the members who I have not met but consider compadres.
Happy Trails to one and all.
Enjoy the outdoors wisely and elevate your perspective.

Most of us did not want to let you in, but there was one wimp in the group. I think his name is Groucho Marx. "Any club that would let me in, isn't much of a club."

I'll have to visit Uncle Groucho's gravesite and pass along my thanks.

Actually this forum has a problem. It's addictive!

Love it here during my morning coffee, my after dinner coffee, and my relaxing after supper coffee. (And sometimes a small look-in throughout the day to see what's the "latest".)

Tnx to all who continue to contribute to this wonderful place.

PS: Mods, can we have a thread injector Smiley for the new year?

Is this the friendliest, most informative, fun forum on the whole worldwide internet?

    Methinks so!!!!

Thank you to all the mods for all your time for keeping this clean and friendly.

And, thank you to all the members who share your inventions, experiences, insights, tips, and personalities on this forum in so many positive ways.

I know it is kinda cliche' but this place really seems like family. The people that are here are the cream of the crop. The moderators do a sometimes difficult job and do it well. I am blessed to have found this place.
I like refried beans. That's why I wanna try fried beans, because maybe they're just as good and we're just wasting time. You don't have to fry them again after all.
