    Climashield UQs

We're thinking about putting together a limited run of Climashield underquilts. They would be black/green ripstop and 5.0 oz Climashield APEX insulation, measuring 72" x 50". Price would run $130 plus shipping. We have enough materials to do five quilts. Please let us know if you are interested. If we have enough response, we will try to expand production and maybe make this one of our standard items. These quilts should be ready starting end of November or the beginning of December. In time for the holidays for sure.

You know if you had posted this last week you could have saved me a ton of sewing and down stuffing.

So it would be a 25 degree F rating?
    Any pictures of prototypes?

Hi guys: I will put up pictures of the quilts as soon as I have the first one fully complete and tested sometime next week. I'll put a temp rating and stuffed dimensions on it then, too, just to be safe. But I am thinking the 30*F range. I got a little excited with the announcement. I should have waited until I had them all finished and ready to go.

Thanks for all the interest! I'll see how quickly I can churn these out. If it turns out I can do it faster than projected, the price may come down.

I have gotten several PMs from interested parties in addition to the posts here. I'm still unfortunately waiting on the Climashield which was delayed a couple of times. I am putting the outers together, but nothing I can do until the insulation turns up. New projection is having the first one complete and tested by Thanksgiving with any luck.

    Climashield UQ from Santa

I'd love to see the final specs / pics when they are available. This is definitely on my short list of christmas gifts from Santa !!

All right fellas, I received the materials finally, but unfortunately something has happened in my professional/day job life that is just going to prevent these from being made any time soon. I did manage to put together a slightly smaller (64" x 47") prototype finished I will let go quite cheaply, but I would like to sell most of the Climashield (~7 yards) and just stay with my current product line. This is just going to be too much of a time commitment right now. I may come back to it in the future, just not in the coming months.

I apologize, I know a lot of you out there were interested, but my job/family has to come first at the moment.
