This is a hell of a price for this pack. I've got one, and love it.

So can I live out of this pack? I really want this bad, but then my wife would throw me in the backyard.
Look up before you hook up!!

It depends on how much you really need to live on. It is a very large pack that doesn't weigh a whole lot. It can hold a lot of gear.

I have one of these packs. They are light for the size, and they can be made even lighter by removing the top cover, and other components (like the aluminum stays). Very nice pack. I recommend it.

    Peace,

I don't need it but I ca add my praise for the REI Flash 65. I have one in Medium and it is my primary backpacking backpack. I liked it so much (both for features, construction, etc and also for cost) that I bought my girlfriend an REI Women's Flash 50.

Full Disclosure: REI is not selling any Flash's at the moment, I suspect that they are redesigning it for 2012.

Any pictures? Dirt spots, stains or fraying threads? I'm very interested

    PM sent as well.
